Description

Stout double-edged blade with rhombic cross-section and deep, offset fullers on both sides. Dark horn grip panels, the obverse with fittings of engraved and nielloed silver. Wooden scabbard with later-added leather covering. Chape and locket of finely relief-worked and nielloed silver, the chape struck on the reverse, the locket with two nielloed cartouches. Ridged carrying clip with lateral suspension ring and leather belt. Length 60 cm.
