Description

Sturdy, single-edged blade with yelman, original bluing. Gold-inlaid calligraphic cartouche on the obverse. Brass crossguard (slightly bent) and grip strap, horn grip scales. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with decorative stitching on the front. Brass mounts lavishly decorated with chased and hammered embellishment. Leather cracked with losses, locket with partially split seam. Length 87 cm.
