Description

One-piece hammered conical skull with linearly chased decor, the top terminating in a soldered square-sectioned head. Engraved, gilt-galvanized inscribed cartouches running around the lower border and the upper surface. Riveted engraved height-adjustable nasal and browplate, likewise engraved and gilt. Surfaces pitted. The lower border pierced with a continuous row of holes, from which three aventails hang, with largely riveted links, small losses. Height with aventail circa 58 cm.
