Description

Curved back blade, spine partly cut. Both sides with calligraphy band on a punched ground, dated on the flat “1281” (1864). Ferrule and grip band of nickel silver. Grip band with inlaid corals on the upper side and inlaid green glass beads on the lower side. Large riveted scales of walrus ivory. Leather-covered scabbard with florally chased nickel silver mounts, decorative brass inlay on the obverse. Length 76 cm.
