Description
Non-matching cutlery. The long knife with a back-edge blade and floral etched decoration on both sides at the root. Carved bone grip plates with brass inlay. The fork finely silver- and gold-damascened at the root with maker's signature and date “1296” (=1879). Engraved brass ferrule, the walrus ivory hilt richly inlaid with brass rings and pins. Wire-stitched, leather-covered wooden scabbard with locket and tin chape button. Silver curb chain attached. Length: 43.5 cm.Attention: This lot can only be shipped within the European Union.
