Description

365 pages of text in English plus 164 black-and-white boards (= 762 depictions). Gold-stamped linen binding with gilt top edge, in slipcase. Rare work on the representative weapon collection (today in Philadelphia) with detailed descriptions of single examples including provenance, use, relationship to other types, and cross-references to the respective high-resolution depiction. Very good condition, no traces of use. Published under the supervision of Hans Schedelmann in a limited edition. This catalogue was never sold commercially but distributed privately and free of charge to various institutions worldwide.
