Description

Cast in one piece, bronze gong with a beautiful age patina. Central boss with a continuous depiction of a swimming crab, flanked by two Dragons. Continuous decorative frieze, with floral decor on the sides. Diameter 32 cm. These gongs were used exclusively as primitive currency for barter trade in the Southeast Asian area and therefore do not produce a good tone.

Condition: II Questions about the lot?
