Description

Coin scale in casket: steel beam, two brass pans on threads. 16 brass weights with coin designations and grip knobs, as well as 1 counterweight in a compartment with brass lid bearing the year “1776”. Inside of the lid of the wooden casket with original paper label with maker's designation. Casket with losses, one clasp loop missing. Length of casket: 17 cm. Together with a coin scale without casket with 8 brass weights with coin designations and grip knobs. Length of crossbeam: 15.5 cm.

The auction starts on Monday, November 16, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 001 - 863 and continues on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 864 - 1190. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET). Please make an appointment if possible to avoid waiting times.
