Description

Bronze with a beautiful age patina. Cylindrical body with a spreading base and wide, flared Lippe. Two encircling decorative friezes with floral scrolls, mascarons and putti, above a banner inscribed “LAUS DEO SEMPER 1654”. Two lateral handles in the form of dolphins. Includes a bronze pestle. Height of the mortar 13.5 cm, length of the pestle 24 cm.
