Description

Bulbous body on a raised foot. Slender pouring spout with lid, brace arm-shaped. Hinged lid with pommel and palmette thumbpiece, strap handle. The lid struck with the angel mark of Abraham Gantling, active as a pewterer in Bern circa 1729–56. Beside it two fineness marks “F” with crown. Height 32.5 cm.
