Description

Seal of wrought iron with a circular silver(?) matrix, engraved with a crowned coat of arms and a surrounding inscription: “Siegel der N(ieder):OE(sterreichischen): Landschafts Buchhalterey”. Octagonally faceted, baluster-form graduated shaft with a stepped, square finial. Matrix diameter circa 4.5 cm. Height circa 6.5 cm.

Provenance: From the British Collection David Morris.
