Description

Fine silver brooch with polychrome enamel on both sides. Central medallion with a sculptural figure of Saint George on horseback fighting the dragon. Fine openwork border with two sculptural heads between volutes and foliage. On the obverse two set red gemstones, suspending two river pearls. Brooch fitting on the reverse. The enamel with minor defects in places. Dimensions 4.5 x 4 cm, weight approx. 13 gr.
