Description
Oil on copper. Dense bouquet comprising roses, carnations, a peony and other flowers in a dark vessel on a stone ledge. Paint layer with fine craquelure, particularly in the light-coloured flower passages, and scattered small losses to the dark background and along the right and lower edges. Surface with uneven gloss and punctate accretions. Frame with abrasions, scratches and scattered losses to the finish. Visible dimensions 55.7 × 42.2 cm, frame dimensions 69.3 × 56.1 cm.Condition: II - III Questions about the lot?
