Description

Copper engraving, folded. Period view of the City of Passau, with a legend “unrolled” along the lower edge of the sheet. Engraved by the Swiss engraver and publisher Matthäus Merian (1593–1650). Occasional foxing. One area of worming, torn in the upper right corner. In a plastic frame behind acrylic glass. Overall dimensions 34 x 50.5 cm.
