Description

A German silver-mounted, left-handed historicism dagger in the style of circa 1600 Sturdy blade of diamond section, a smith's mark on the obverse. The curved, lightly chiselled quillons in burnished iron, the finials with silver-mounted mascarons. The thumb ring with a silver-mounted mascaron. The leather-covered scabbard with silver mounting. Conical pommel with an engraved silver cap. Length 38 cm.
