Description
Silver, horizontal oval serving tray with a curved edge, the border engraved with a dedication and the engraved emblem of the "Verein für Hindernis-Rennen 1881". The base struck with the mark of fineness "830" and number stamps "5769" and "55/37". Dimensions 55.5 x 37.5 cm. Weight 1431 g. Founded in 1881, the Steeplechase Club opened the "Rennbahn in der Wuhlheide" south of Karlshorst in 1894. Until 1945, the 75-hectare racecourse, with its steeplechase races, was one of the most important in Europe.Condition: I - Questions about the lot?
