Description

Tumbaga (Gold- und Kupferlegierung, Goldblech). Rechteckige Gewandapplike mit der Darstellung einer frontal stehenden Gottheit mit breitem Kopfputz. Rand mit Befestigungslöchern. Obere linke Ecke beschädigt. Risse. Maße: 7 x 11,5 cm, Gewicht: 11,22 g - Die Altersbestimmung erfolgt aufgrund der Charakteristika des Objekts, ohne ein TL Gutachten angefertigt zu haben. KULTURGUT!

Provenance: Aus Süddeutschem Privatbesitz. Zuvor Sammlung der Eltern, die in den 70er Jahren als Diplomaten in Süd- und Nordamerika unterwegs waren und ihrerseits eine Sammlung präkolumbischer Objekte im Kunsthandel erworben hatten.
