Holztafel mit zwei Rückseiten-Sponki (einer verloren). Kowtscheg, Tempera auf Kreidegrund. In der vertikalen Bildmittelachse ist Johannes der Täufer ganzfigurig und frontal als Engel der Wüste dargestellt. In seiner Linken hält er eine geöffnete Schriftrolle. Der untere Teil zeigt Szenen aus seinem Leben: Empfängnis des Johannes durch Elisabeth, die Geburt von Johannes, seine Enthauptung und die Auffindung des Hauptes. Messingnimbus. Unterer Randbereich mit Fehlstellen, restauriert, Malschicht bläht sich auf (kein Versand). 32,5 x 26, 5cm.
