Description
The iron core encased in bright malachite and embellished with ormolu bronze appliqués. A wood inlay in the base. Each on a square, stepped pedestal with a garland of laurel leaves and beaded decoration. A rod of Hercules and a leaf ornament appliquéd on each side. Above which, the screw-mounted vases with a gilt brass inlay. Two mascarons in high relief in the shape of a female art nouveau figure in gilt bronze on each vase. A broad border of tongue decor at the top. Slightly scratched, otherwise in good condition. Total height: 50 cm, upper diameter of the vase: 29 cm, height of the vase: 33.5 cm.
