Description
Porcelain, painted in colour and complemented with gold highlights. In amphora form. The bulbous bodies painted with floral décor on both sides. Tapered necks with a cobalt blue background. A broad gold band around the rims at the top. Two handles on each side in the shape of two intertwined serpents. A palmette frieze on a cobalt blue background on the bases, lower sections and below the opening. Both undersides with crossed swords mark (1.Wahl), one with Knaufmark and no. "148". Height 48.5 cm. Moreover, two ebonised wooden pedestals. Height including pedestal 52.5 cm.
