Description

Cal. 12/65, Cal. 9,3x74R, Cal. 12/65, SN. 336994, matching numbers. Barrel length 65 cm, bright bores. Barrel set with original finish >99%. Needle-etched barrel bar, tapered towards the muzzle, folding front sight. The barrel bar marked "9,3 x 74 R", the shot barrels laterally marked "Krupp-Laufstahl", the right one with Luftwaffe Eagle in the chamber area. On the lower side of the barrel set calibres, Suhl proof marks and date "9/41". Dual locking lugs with Greener bolt, the rear lug with Luftwaffe acceptance mark Eagle/"2". Colour case hardened steel action, the finish extraordinarily well preserved. Barrel selector on the top strap. Greener safety on the left side. Dual trigger, with set trigger on the forward trigger. Lock and trigger guard engraved with tendrils. Walnut stock with checkering, pistol grip and German-style cheekpiece. On the right side of the stock a Luftwaffe eagle. Black rubber buttcap with Sauer & Sohn logo. Sling swivels. Length 108 cm. The original green aluminum case, 69x19x11cm, marked "Drilling M 30 mit Munition und Zubehör". The interior very well preserved, a table of content inside the lid. Included are the gun strap, cleaning set with three-part rod and gun oil. Original, empty ammo box for 9.3 x 74R. An extremely rare set in outstanding condition!
