Description

Cal. 11,15x60R M71, SN. 4438, matching numbers, incl. bolt and bolt heads. Barrel length 80 cm, bright bore. Chamber area marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A/NECKAR". The left side of the action marked "I. G. Mod.71/84" (Infantry Rifle Mod.71/84) . Various imperial acceptance marks. Tubular magazine under the barrel. Made in 1887. Excellent original finish on the barrel, action and bolt in the white. Trigger guard a bit mottled, with signs of wear. The butt cap tang with unit marking "125. R. 1. 242.". Dark walnut stock with crisp markings, minor signs of wear, both sling swivels. Rifles Mod. 71/84 made by Mauser are extremely rare. Length 130 cm.
