Cal. .45Auto, SN. 860067, bright barrel in need of cleaning, length 5". German proof marks 1978. Seven shots. Two-line standard markings on the slide. The proper receiver with "FJA" (Frank J. Atwood) inspector's mark, on the right side hardly visible crossed canons mark of the Ordnance Department, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" above S/N, the front marked "M 1911 A1 U.S.ARMY". On the right side of the trigger guard "FFW" importer's mark. The entire gun refurbished in the Augusta Arsenal ("AA" marking mid-left of slide), the parkerized finish with minor signs of wear. Springfield Armory marked ("S P") barrel from post-WWI production, matching "Coltwood" plastic grips from molds "1" resp. "7". Lanyard loop. Proper "R" marked magazine by Risdon. Very good condition.
