Cal. .30-40Krag, SN. 3879, numbers apparently matching. Barrel length 20", bright bore. Made in 1896. Short stock without barrel bands. On barrel top calibre marking "30 U.S.". Original glossy finish, blackish-blue, slightly rubbed in places, e.g. the magazine bay.
