Description

S/N 31986, nummerngleich. Runder Lauf mit leicht rauer, fünffach gezogener Seele im Kaliber 14 mm. Klappvisier. Hülse gemarkt "Burnside Patent / March 25th 1856". Schlossplatte mit geprägter Herstellerbezeichnung. Zweiteiliger Nussholzschaft mit Reitstange und Fangriemenöse. Eisenteile fleckig, teils etwas narbig. Länge 100 cm. Der Burnside-Karabiner war das drittbeliebteste Gewehr im Bürgerkrieg.
