Cal. .454Casull, SN. 0007, matching numbers. Barrel length 10" (254 mm), mirror bore. Barrel exchangeable. Five shots. SA/DA. German proof marks, both Suhl and Kiel, 2001. The left-hand side of the barrel marked "JTL .454 Casull", the right-hand side of the frame with 4-line company details, on the side-plate the Janz logo. Adjustable micro-sights, ramped front sight. Wide, serrated sports hammer. The button of the cylinder unlocking lever gold-plated. Polished high-gloss finish very good, hardly any scratches due to bad storage conditions with some corrosion on the trigger guard, near the company markings, and two tiny specks barrel center, left and right. A capable gun-smith can largely improve this condition. Perfect timing, extremely smooth action in both DA and SA, excellent trigger. Grip scales of greenish laminated wood, a small chip bottom left, a nick left rear, the left logo disk lost, only the holding magnet left. On the inside an amateurish layer of silicone to adjust for grip size, as these grips are slightly too big for the frame. No accessories. Weight 1,9 kg, length 41,5 cm. A very early Janz revolver, the few flaws notwithstanding in great overall condition.
