Cal. .44-40RimFire, SN. 118928 , matching numbers, as far as visible without disassembly. Barrel length 20", the bore frosted and in need of cleaning, the exterior pitted. Tubular magazine. The two-line company markings on top of the barrel barely visible. Folding rear sight. The hammer frosted. Receiver made of brass. Saddle ring on the left hand side. Two-part walnut stock, a hairline crack top left, the edges worn. Brass butt cap. Iron furniture patinated. Clear signs of wear and age. Overall length 100 cm. Nice frontier-issued appearance.
