Description

Cal. 16/70, Cal. 9,3x74R, SN. 5081, barrel length 65 cm, bright bores in need of cleaning. Needle-etched barrel bars, beaded front sight, fixed rear sight, marked "G. Juch -Ferlach". Original bluing > 99%. Valid Austrian proof marks 1973. Dual locking lugs with Greener lock. The action made of steel, the side plates with skillful engraving, showing black cock, wild boar, hunting dogs and a fox, on the bottom plate a displaying wood grouse. Tang safety. The left lock plate with selector switch bullet/shot. Dual triggers, with set trigger in the front. Trigger guard and top lever open-worked and decorated with ibex and squirrel. Dark walnut stock with beautiful grain, fine checkering, pistol grip and German cheek piece, several inlays made of polished horn, extensive carving showing game. The well-made pistol grip cap with a bear. Stock holds four cartridges, the compartment cover nicely engraved with a bird of prey. Length 108 cm.
