Description
The front made of red silk, the silver national eagle and inscription "Kameradschaft ehem. 99er Duisburg" in the centre. The design and composition match the typical form of NSDAP party flags during the 1930s and 1940s. The opposite side is designed in line with a Prussian standard, made of blue and yellow silk, the Prussian eagle in a wreath on a white background in the centre, above it the motto "IN TREUE FEST!" Three of the four corners with the cipher "RIR" for the Reserve Infantry Regiment, the Iron Cross 1914 in the lower, right-hand corner. The flag edged in gold braid with gold fringes. Seven metal rings on the side to attach the flag to the flagpole. Dimensions of the flag 105 x 105 cm without the fringe. First-rate manufacture, in excellent condition, only slight traces of use.
