Description
Privately purchased item circa 1943 in field-grey gabardine, with a dark green collar, stitched black shoulder boards, hand-embroidered breast eagle (heavily oxidised), "SP" collar patches trimmed in silver cord, stitched War Merit Cross ribbon. A loop for a pin-on badge and a loop for a ribbon bar on the left breast pocket. Complete with all buttons. The inside with silk lining and carrying clip with a vent for the dagger. Moth damage to the right hip pocket, further damage to the right sleeve and on the left shoulder blade. Signs of age and wear.Condition: II - III Questions about the lot?
