Description
Elegant, privately purchased item in brown gabardine, produced circa 1940. Crimson collar patches with silver piping, the „Feldherrnhalle” metal appliqué on the right-hand collar patch. Both collar patches machine-sewn, shoulder boards for Führer of the SA Fußstandarten sewn in place, stone-grey underlay. On the left sleeve, the swastika brassard in wool with ribbed silk appliqué, the „Feldherrnhalle” cuff title for Führer on the cuff, BeVo issue in metal thread, above which the Führer sleeve badge for SA doctors. BeVo metal thread issue, all insignia machine-sewn. In the top button hole the stitched Knight's Cross of the War Merit Cross ribbon, all buttons and belt hooks still in situ, the manufacturer's mark „A” for Assmann and „RZM 17” stamped on the back. Two loops for pin-on badges on the left breast pocket, above which another loop for a field orders clasp. Lined in „Party brown” silk, a label reading ”Massarbeit” at the nape. All insignia with the original stitching. The tunic was consigned directly from a private household and is in untouched, original condition. Extremely rare uniform tunic in good condition, merely a few small moth holes.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
