Description

Cap body in dark blue wool, black artificial silk cap band, red piping, celleon chin cords with dark blue accents attached by two gilt finish pebbled buttons. Silver-finish metal eagle and machine-woven winged wreath, metal cockade with red cloth insert. Black lacquered visor with tan, smooth finish underside. Grey artificial silk lining, moisture shield intact with manufacturer mark “HVH” underneath, tan leather perforated sweatband. Minor moth nips. Exhibits age. Size ca. 52.
