Description

Cap body in green wool, green cap band, dark green piping, black leather chinstrap with metal buckles, attached by two black smooth finish buttons. Silver-finish metal oakleaf/swastika, aluminum wreath with metal cockade and red cloth insert. Black lacquered visor with dark-brown, checkered finish underside. Gold cloth lining, moisture shield intact, manufacturer-marked “Josef Eping Hervest-Dorsten”. Brown leather sweatband with moisture damage. Moderate staining to liner. Minor moth nips. Exhibits age. Size ca. 55.
