Certificates for the Pilot's Badge dated February 15, 1940, for the Iron Cross 2nd Class dated May 26, 1941, and for the Iron Cross 1st Class dated August 4, 1941. The large decorative certificate (353 x 253 mm) for the German Cross in Gold dated May 18, 1942, and for the Honor Goblet dated February 13, 1942. Certificates for the Front Flying Clasps for Combat Pilots in Bronze, Silver, and Gold from 1940 with the ink signature of Generalmajor Angerstein, as well as for the FFS with pendant dated January 13, 1942. Certificates for the Eastern Front Medal dated July 16, 1942, and for the Wound Badge in Black dated August 13, 1942. Also included are his commissions as Feldwebel dated December 24, 1941, and as Oberfeldwebel dated September 1, 1943, his service ID dated June 27, 1942, two signed post-war photographs, and the book "Ju 88 Aces of World War 2." The documents are partially folded, bumped, and punched with holes. Also included are his German Cross in Gold (cloth version) and a pair of shoulder boards as a Feldwebel at the War School. Eduard Lindinger (1915–2004) joined the FEA Neubiberg in 1937, trained as a pilot in 1938, and from 1940 as a fighter pilot, subsequently serving with KG 1 "Hindenburg." His duties included 12 sorties against England, later against the Soviet Union, totaling approximately 320 combat sorties. He received the German Cross in Gold on June 1, 1942, and the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on December 9, 1942. After a serious injury and subsequent recovery, he served from 1944 with Nachtjagdgeschwader 5 in the defense of the Reich.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
