Description

Patents for Fähnrich from 1902, Leutnant from 1904, Oberleutnant from 1912, and Hauptmann from 1915, as well as a certificate from his cadet days. Appointments to Major from 1926, Oberstleutnant from 1930, and Oberst from 1933, the latter two with Hindenburg's ink signature. Appointment to Generalmajor from April 20, 1936, with the original signatures of Hitler and Blomberg. To Generalleutnant from February 17, 1938, with the ink signatures of Hitler and Göring, in a gold-embossed protective folder. To General oder Flakartillerie from July 31, 1939, with Göring's ink signature, in Frieda Thiersch's gold-embossed red leather folder. Included are a portrait photograph with a personal handwritten dedication from GFM Albert Kesselring from 1938 and one with a personal handwritten dedication from Generaloberst Alexander Löhr. Also included is a handwritten military curriculum vitae. Friedrich Hirschauer (1883-1979), from 1902 in the 8th Royal Bavarian Field Artillery Regiment in Nuremberg, later Leutnant, Oberleutnant, and Hauptmann there, on July 16, 1916, commander of Fort Douaumont near Verdun. From February 1918, commander of the III Battalion. In 1919, commander of the infantry gun battery of the 48th Infantry Regiment. In 1920, battery commander in Artillery Regiment 24, later in Artillery Regiment 7 in Nuremberg. In 1934 he transferred to the Luftwaffe, in 1935 Higher Commander of the Flak Artillery in Air District I in Königsberg, in 1936 Leader of the Nuremberg Air District, in 1938 Commanding General and Commander in Air District XVII (Vienna), in 1942 President of the Reich Air Protection League, retired in 1945.
