Description

Vier gerahmte Bilder/Fotos, versch. Formate, leichte Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Die "Coppa d’oro Mussolini" war ein internationales Reitturnier in Italien. Von 1931 bis 1933 gewann die deutsche Springmannschaft den Pokal (Turnier), welcher von Staatschef Benito Mussolini gestiftet wurde. Drei Bilder sind handsigniert von Rudolf Freiherr von Waldenfels; er leitete den Springstall der Kavallerieschule Hannover (Reichswehr). Freiherr von Waldenfels wurde später mit dem Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub ausgezeichnet und war Kommandeur der 6. Panzerdivision. Sein letzter Rang innerhalb der Wehrmacht war Generalleutnant. Ein sehr seltener und interessanter Nachlass.

The pre-sale view will take place from May 12 - May 15 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CEST).
