Description

The Skull Ring custom-made by silversmiths Otto and Karolina Gahr. The skull mounted separately (soldered), the engraving inside reads "S.lb. Schimmelpfennig 20.4.37 H. Himmler". Inside diameter 19.70 mm, weight 8.66 g. The honour ring with obvious signs of wear. SS Standartenführer Schimmelpfennig served as attaché in the general staff of SS Abschnitt XXXX, his SS number was 241 230. He was awarded the 1914 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class for his service in World War I.
