Description
The lightweight design made of steel, early apple-green paint finish, approx. 95% of which preserved. With both decals, the SS runes almost completely preserved (97%), the swastika shield approx. 95%. The decals can be assigned to CA Pocher. Light-coloured, soft leather lining, some damage. Stamped with the size „59 1/2”, the chinstrap completely preserved. Signs of age and wear, along with two bullet holes, which were closed again after the war („patched over”). The helmet was discovered in an SS/SD Norway office in Oslo in May 1945 by a Norwegian resistance fighter, who took a shot at the helmet himself.
