Half-litre cream/off-white pottery stein with the scene of Ulmer Münster over crossed rifle and bayonet and helmet all between two soldiers - one throwing a grenade and the other manning a MG 08 Maxim machine gun. Pewter lid with relief of helmet surrounded by an oak leaf wreath. Impressed “5” on bottom of stein. IR 56 was established in 1935 when the Reichswehr was expanded to the Wehrmacht.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
