Description
Light brown leather portfolio with a gold-embossed Reichsmarschall eagle in the center of the front, bordered on both sides with a gold-embossed meander band. The two inner parchment flaps. Dimensions 24.5 x 33.5 cm. Also included is the original case, covered in gray linen, with leather binding on the front and back. The front shows the Luftwaffe eagle in the center, with two horn clasps ("pins") on the sides. The two inner flaps (back panels) are missing. Dimensions 26 x 35.5 cm. Signs of age and wear. Extremely rare, with only 34 awards made. The award was presented personally by Reichsmarschall Göring.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
