Field-grey cloth with ponceau red piping, short stand-up collar, Polish lapels and smooth, nickel-plated iron buttons (a few rust stains), a Gefreiter's and a Sergeant's button on the collar. Braid for non-commissioned officers (torn at the collar) and „swallow's nest" for musicians on the right. Sewn red shoulder boards with crowned cipher "CR IX" stitched in yellow cloth. Field-grey cotton lining with a slanted edge (a few small holes and tears) and the black ink stamp „K.B.A.G. 1915"(?). Occasional minor moth damage, small tears, repairs, stains, signs of age and wear. A rare find in good condition. Although the sealed cardboard label of the War Ministry's clothing department is missing, the half-sided braid suggests this was a sample piece.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
