Description
The solid breastplate slightly ridged in the middle, made in one piece of forged steel with triple riveted back straps on each side and two inner linen straps with three steel extension pieces and felt pads. The three ring mark for Krupp stamped in the middle of the uppermost extension piece. The two lower extension pieces in somewhat thinner steel replaced during the period of use, the interior attachment of the extension pieces renewed with wire during the same period.
