Description
The black lacquered fibre skull with round visors (partly worn) and silver-plated, nickel silver fittings. Screw-mounted eagle emblem, the base plate with four gilt, star-shaped pins, a bead and reel frieze and slender, smooth spike. Flat, leather-covered chinscales in gilt brass on rosettes, both cockades in lacquered sheet metal. Brown silk rep lining (minor tears) and brown leather sweatband, the visors with red and green underlay, the old size „57 1/4” in the skull. Also includes a helmet cover for officers in field-grey cloth, stamped „D.R.P.” Signs of age and wear. Beautiful condition, consistent with its age.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
