Field-grey gabardine with golden yellow piping and lapels (faded in places), silver guard braid (darkened) on the stand-up collar and Polish cuffs, grey iron crown buttons, two side pockets, braided Prussian shoulder boards in the rank of Major sewn in place with golden yellow fabric backing, order loops, cross of the Order of St. John in white cloth sewn on. The interior lining in beautiful condition, made of smooth field-grey silk with three inside pockets. A few small moth holes and superficial insect damage, signs of age and wear.
