Description
Original tombac skull with nickel-silver trim and spherical rivets, the rear visor rail stamped with the size „58”, the unit stamp „G.d.C. 3.” near the cockade on the right. The replaced emblem with appliquéd black eagle (black lacquered, non-ferrous metal) fixed by means of three leather wedges on the front. Convex chinscales with leather underlay (one link is missing) attached to M 91 side post lugs with old state and Reich cockades in lacquered metal. Frosted, silver-plated parade eagle in white metal (the fitting and pointed oval basis replaced) with a screw-mounted silver crown for enlisted men. The black liner with leather flaps and the black paint finish in the skull of later date. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age and wear.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
