Description

Konvolut aus einer Kapala-Schale aus Schädelkalotte mit umlaufender Silberfassung und plastischen Totenkopfappliken (Citipati) sowie einer Mala aus 108 aus Bein geschnitzten Schädelperlen auf sekundärer Kordel; Schale innen silbern ausgekleidet, mit Bearbeitungsspuren und zentraler Stoß- bzw. Nahtlinie. Silberfassung mit dunkler Patina, partiellen Oxidationsspuren, leichten Verformungen und Kantenabrieb; Schädeloberfläche außen fleckig verfärbt, mit partiellen Verdunkelungen, feinen Kratzspuren und unregelmäßiger Schnittkante. Mala mit gebohrten Durchzügen, geschwärzten Ritzlinien, Kantenabrieb und einzelnen kleinen Chips, Schnur wohl neuzeitlich ersetzt. Maße Kapala ca. 7,5 × 17,5 × 13 cm, Mala Länge ca. 56,5 cm.
