Fünf flache Sakazuki aus gedrechseltem Holz mit mehrschichtigem Urushi-Lackaufbau und goldfarbenem Dekor. Chrysanthemenemblem (kiku-mon), florale Ornamente und kalligraphische Inschriften; mit zugehörigen Holzboxen mit Beschriftung. Form, Ornamentik und Ausführung sind mit zeremoniellen bzw. möglicherweise militärisch konnotierten Erinnerungsstücken der Shōwa-Zeit vereinbar. 1) Rote Lackschale mit zentralem Chrysanthemenmotiv; feine Kratzer, leichter Abrieb im Golddekor. Maße: H. 2,3 cm, D. ca. 9 cm. Zustand: II+ 2) Rote Lackschale mit goldener Blüte und Schriftzeichen; leichte Oberflächenkratzer, minimaler Goldabrieb. Maße: H. 2,6 cm, D. ca. 9,8 cm. Zustand: II 3) Rote Lackschale mit Chrysanthemenemblem, Holzbox; leichte Gebrauchsspuren, geringer Abrieb im Dekor. Maße: H. 2,1 cm, D. ca. 9 cm. Zustand: I– / II+ 4) Rote Lackschale mit floralen Motiven und Schriftzeichen; deutlicher Lackverlust und Abplatzung am Standring mit sichtbarer schwarzer Grundschicht. Maße: H. 2,7 cm, D. ca. 8,6 cm. Zustand: III- 5) Rote Lackschale mit Chrysanthemenmotiv; leichte Kratzer und geringfügiger Abrieb im Golddekor. Maße: H. 2,3 cm, D. ca. 9 cm. Zustand: II+ Die Chrysantheme (kiku) ist ein traditionelles japanisches Ornament mit imperialer Konnotation, das im frühen bis mittleren 20. Jhdt. häufig bei formellen Geschenk- und Erinnerungsobjekten Verwendung fand.
