Description
Gilt silver. Circular base, embellished with „peacock-like" enamel décor. The base and ovoid box covered in gilt silver wire. The owl's plumage opulently depicted in silver wire and coloured enamel. Removable head also covered in luminous enamel, two tiger's eye cabochons representing the eyes. A total of eleven turquoise and coral-coloured gemstones on the head and shoulders. The underside hallmarked with a crescent, crown and mark of fineness „800". Minor defects in the enamel. Height 14.5 cm, total weight 353 g.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
