Description

Kräftige, aufwendig und tief geschnittene Matrix aus Messing mit umlaufendem Schriftzug "Lohgerber Ampts Siegel in Hildesheim". Im Siegelfeld prächtiges Wappen mit Schlüsselhalter und weit ausladenden Ranken. Aus Buchenholz gestuft gedrechselter Griff mit schönem Kerbdekor und stellenweise Resten von fein geritzten geometrischen Verzierungen. Altersspuren und winzige Fehlstellen im Holz. Höhe 16 cm, Durchmesser der Matrix ca. 53 mm.
