Description
Two-stage smooth bore barrel of etched Damascus in Oriental style, octagonal then round, in 14 mm calibre. Silver-inlaid décor struck at the breech. The lock with finely chiselled shells and rocaille ornaments. The slightly carved full stock in walnut, the furniture in fine relief with remnants of gilding. The lock side plate probably a replacement. Unusual stock in the shape of a bird's head. Inset wooden ramrod with brass tip. Length 40.5 cm.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
